Welcome to the second edition of CINE 2016. At the very onset I begin by thanking all our respected guests, participants and honorable members of the advisory board and Technical Program Committee who had graciously agreed to be a part of our maiden venture and stood by us. It is your active participation and encouragement that has instilled a sense of pride and achievement in us and has propelled us to strive sky –high (literally) in this edition.
CINE 2016 is proud to host two eminent speakers who have excelled in space research in some premier organizations. The first speaker is Dr. Bedabrata Pain, an ex- NASA scientist and a nationally acclaimed film director. The second speaker is Dr. Subhanjoy Mohanty, a faculty in the Astrophysics Group, at the prestigious Imperial College London.
We hope this conference will provide a rare occasion for computer engineers to get an insight into the immense scope and possibilities of research and innovation of computer science, through these interactions.
We look forward to another successful edition of CINE2016 and hope that all of you have a very fruitful and enjoyable time with us.
