The current consultancy and research &amp; development areas of the school include jet and spray impingement heat transfer, droplet and spray combustion, computational fluid dynamics, mechanical systems design &amp; optimization, biomass and biofuels (synthesis, analysis and optimization), vibration and machine condition monitoring, meta machining, metal matrix\/polymer matrix composites (fabrication and characterization), metal forming.
