School of Applied Sciences (SAS) was established in the year 2009 by strengthening the Department of Basic Sciences formed since 1997. Currently SAS is consisting of three departments Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The SAS also offers different courses to most of the UG and PG programme in Engineering, Law, Biotechnology, and Film & media sciences. In addition, the School has vibrant Ph.D. and Masters program in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.  The faculty members are working on cutting edge research project on various industrial applications.
