The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a Central Scheme of the Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. It provides opportunity to the student youth of schools, college and University level of India to take part in various government led community service activities & programmes. The sole aim of the NSS is to provide hands on experience to young students in delivering community service, since inception of the NSS in the year 1969.

KIIT NSS Bureau is actively involved in various awareness programmes like, Swachh Bharat Mission, health & hygiene, legal, literacy, environmental protection through hands-on experiment and also the central Govt scheme announced for the well-being of society from time to time. To cater the needs of the society, volunteers of different units of KIIT NSS Bureau are giving their best.
